Laura Thomas is Senior Vice President and Chief Client Officer for Antares Technology Solutions working over the years to support clients primarily from greater Houston to across the gulf coast. Laura has been with Antares for 27 years where she has been a driving force in sales and marketing management in high tech software development and information technology consulting.
Her passion is to work with clients to understand their business needs and then provide the Antares team with the insight to design and develop the right solution. Laura has been fortunate to work with all types of clients including DXC, Louisiana Department of Health, Amedisys and the Louisiana Clerks of Court Association.
Prior to Antares, Laura got her start working for US Robotics Software in the early days just prior to the explosion of the Internet. One of her proudest moments was working closely with her Federal Sales rep to close a two million software contract with the US Army providing software to connect all of their different computer systems in support Desert Storm.
Laura is a member of the Baton Rouge Rotary and has volunteered her time in support of the Junior League, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and United Way. She is an active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and enjoys playing guitar and singing in the choir. Laura enjoys traveling and has been proud to chaperone the award-winning Baton Rouge High School Choir Festival Singers on trips to Ireland, Italy, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Outside of work, Laura spends her time with her husband of thirty years, Ellis, and enjoys time with their grown children; sons Benjamin and Jonathan, and daughter Jaime. She especially loves staying active beaching, kayaking, hiking, biking and snow skiing.
